Shows 2009

I have all the pics of our fanatastic trip to Long Beach, California, now so the report will follow!

Wychen

As every year the last show was Wychen, the Xmas show. Brulée and Confetti could both become Dutch Champion as they are old enough now and already have enough CC's.  So they were entered together with Cappuccino, who was there a bit for nothing, as he already is Top Dog All Breeds, but we didn;t know this when we entered the show.
Cappuccino was first of our dogs and he had to compete against the 4 other Petits. The judge was Theo Leenen from Belgium. He did what he did every Dutch show, winning best of breed, he is unbeaten in the breed in the Dutch show rings!!
After that the 9 (!) Grands were judged. Confetti won best male and so became a Dutch Champion! Brulée won best bitch and so is also a Dutch Champ now and the most winning Grand of 2009. Brulée won best of Breed. Also with the Grands, we became at every Dutch show we attend (and that were many!) best of breed!
In the afternoon the group was judged by Mr.  Rutten from the Netherlands, Cappuccino and Brulée were both not placed within the best 3.

Amsterdam Winner

This year there were 10 Petits and 12 Grands entered for the judge Ove Germundson from Sweden. Cappuccino was the only Petit male, so by gaining excellent he got also the title Amsterdam Winner for the 2nd year in a row. Loka became the best bitch of the 9 bitches and so she got 2 titles in one day, Amsterdam Winner 09 and Dutch Champion! Cappuccino got Best of Breed, but Loka gave him a rood run!
Then it was time for the Grands and I had Jour in the Champ class, and he won best male and the title Amsterdam Winner 09! Barbie was entered in the Junior class and won the Junior title! Chipolata was in the  open class with 3 bitches, and my sister Anouk won with Jelly Bean and Chipolata was 2nd. So for the best bitch we had to go back with Barbie and Jelly Bean against the other bitches. Jelly Bean won and so she is Amsterdam Winner 09! Congrats Anouk! Chipo had to come back for the reserve and moved very proudly her round and won the reserve! For best of breed it was Jour and Jelly and Jour was the winner.
In the group it was all strange... our original group judge was 10 minutes to late ( but still about 30 minutes before we had to enter the main ring...) so our group was suddenly judge by mr Schepers from Holland. He looked and touched all the dogs apart of Cappuccino and in the main ring he selected 10 dogs and Cappuccino, the BIS winner of last year, the Top Dog All Breeds 2009 could leave the ring immediately again..... You can imagine how weird this was!
Obviously he did like Jour and he gave him the 3th place........ So it was a very strange winner show with ups and downs!!!

But the good thing is that Cappuccino is officialy the TOP DOG ALL BREEDS '09!!!

Bratislava, 9 oktober 2009, World Dog Show, more then 20.000 dogs entered:

Barbapapa Wereldkampioen en beste van het ras!
Jour reserve beste reu.
Chipolata Wereldkampioen!
Cappuccino Wereldkampioen en beste van het ras en 2e in de groep!

Er waren 21 Grands en 35 Petits ingeschreven.

Luxemburg

Cappuccino had a day off, but Jour went with me to the show! He won best of breed and in the afternoon he also won the group under the judge from Ireland, mrs Barry-Sheenhan. So I'm very proud of Jour that he won the group at this very big show, more then 4000 entries. He's now apart of Dutch and European champion also Luxemburg champion. We couldn't go back for the Best in Show at Sunday.

Rotterdam

Of course we went to the show in Rotterdam, our home show. Our breeds were judged by mrs. Letroye-Lantin from Belgium. The Petits were judged before the Grands and Cappuccino won best of breed. After that the Grands were judged and I took 2 new dogs with me. Scotty was entered in the junior class and he became 2nd and won the RCAC.  Chipolata won the open class, won best bitch and best of breed, so a great start at her first International show.
Also the group was judged by mrs. Letroye-Lantin and Chipolata was not selected within the best 4, but Cappuccino won the group again!! So we had to go back the next day, for the 5th year in row we won the group at this show! The BIS was judged by mr. C. Fernandez-Renau from Spain and just as in 2005 we won Best in Show!!!  There were almost 3000 dogs entered. All the 5 years we were placed at the BIS podium!
Cappuccino is now also for sure the Dutch dog at the
FCI World Challenge at Long Beach, California in December!!!!!!!

Scotty 10 months

Chipolata wins immediately best of breed at her 1st CACIB show.

Echt

Not only was Cappuccino BEST IN SHOW!! Also Confetti and Brulee did great! Confetti won best male and so won his 3th CC in 3 shows. Brulee also got her 3th CC by winning best bitch and she won also best of breed by beating Confetti. So another child of Sublime who is doing great at the shows!

Belgian Hound
As every year we went to the Belgian Hound, this year it was John Wauben who was the judge. The first one to go in the ring for us was little Pumpkin in the baby class, her father Cappuccino was also shown here for the 1st time in baby class. Pumpkin was the best baby in Petits. Then it was Doremi, who was also competing for the 1st time. The judge thought she was amazing and so she won the junior class and also best bitch by beating all the older bitches. (at the Belgian Hound there is no best of breed) Doremi was very naughty as always, she's a real Petit!

After the Petits it was time for the Grands, Confetti was the 1st one, he won the open class, then Jour who won the champ class and then won best male. Confetti was reserve best male. The 3 junior bitches, Orange, Monty and Barbie were again competing and again it was a different result, namely Orange 1, Monty 2 and Barbie 3. Chipolata won the intermediate class. Her sister Brulée was this time 2nd in open, while Jelly of Anouk was the winner. Jelly also won best bitch and Chipolata reserve best bitch. In the finals Doremi won reserve best junior in show behind the Best in Show winner. Jour also became 2nd of all the males behind the same Beagle. Jelly also got the 2nd place, 2nd of all the bitches. I wasn't there for the finals as I had to go with Cappuccino to Echt, and he got the 1st place!

*French Championships*

*Paris*
*6500+ dogs*
*one of the biggest shows of Europe*

Brulée becomes best bitch, best of breed and also Best in Group!!!
And all this before she is 2 years old!
She is the 4th child of Sublime who wins a group at an internatiol show!!

Also the other dogs did very well:

Confetti: 1 exc intermediate class, RCAC-RCACIB
Jour: 1 exc open class, CAC-CACIB

Presence: 1 exc open class
Monty: 1 exc junior class, best junior, selected within the best six juniors in the main ring.

Cappuccino was reserve dog this time, the result was opposite to the result at the specialty 2 weeks ago, the  reserve dog then won best dog now.

Breed judge  was Jacky Renaud from France, the group judge was Jose Homem de Mello from Portugal.

Nationale d'élevage 2009

As every year it was again a succesful weekend!! I will now put a list of the results of our dogs and the dogs of my sister Anouk, more pics will follow later, now I have to spend some time at university!

93 Grands were entered, the adults were judged by Marie-Annick Fabre and the juniors by mr. Genichon.

Jour, my one and only!!!

Confetti: 1 exc intermedite class
Jour: 1exc open class and RCAC!!
Bugs Bunny: 2 exc open class (owned by Anouk)
Barbapapa: 1 exc champion class
Dito Orange: 1excjunior class (Anouk)
Barbabelle: 2 exc junior class
Montréal: 4 exc junior class
Jelly Bean: 1 exc intermediate class (Anouk)
Créme Brulée: 1 exc open class
Chipolata: 3 exc open class
Acte de Présence: 4 exc open class
Triomphe: 2 exc working class and RCAC!!

So apart of the CAC's we won everything what we could win.... (And Jour only lost because he wasn't a working dog)

There were 160 Petits entered and one of them was Cappuccino and again he had a super day, he won the open class and then was beating all the working dogs by winning the CAC!!! Best of breed was finally after a long discussion the bitch Cappucine, owned and bred by mr. Freuchet, the breeder of our Doremi. But what a great result again with so many Petits entered and judged by the French specialist Renaud Buche (the president of the French club).

Europasieger
Dortmund

I skipped a couple of shows in Dortmund, but this time I was there again with Barbapapa and Cappuccino. The judge was Hassi Assemacher from Germany. It was a club show as well, so there were 13 Petits and 5 Grands entered. Barbapapa haven't been to a show for a while, but he looked great! (wunderschön is written in his report!). He became best male (Europasieger) and Best of Breed. Cappuccino was also best male and also got the title Europasieger. he also won best of breed.
I showed Cappuccino in the group and Anja took Barbapapa, but Barbapapa thought the floor was a bit strange and was walking a bit carefull, but Cappuccino was flying as usual! And so he won the big group again!!! He wasn't placed 1,2 or 3 in the Best in Show.

Cappuccino doesn't walk, he is flying!!!!

Barbapapa almost 3 years and also he can fly:

Goes, 25 & 26 april.

Finally I have time to put the great results at the site:

Mr. Rutten was judging the Grands and I had Brulé with me. Brulée won best bitch and Jellybean of Anouk won reserve best bitch. After this Brulée had to compete against the best male, Bugs Bunny alias Bravour of Anouk. Brulée won best of breed! Brulée is now halfway the Dutch Champion title! Cappuccino became Dutch Champion today, he was exactly 27 months at the day of the show. Cappuccino was judged by mr.  Mannucci from Italy. This judge was also judging the group and again it was Cappuccino who was the winner of this group! The Best in Show was judged by Jean Lanning from the UK and Cappuccino won Reserve Best in Show!!

Leeuwarden

As always with Eastern I was at the Int. show in Leeuwarden. I had 2 boys with me, namely Jour and Cappuccino. Jour was old enough now to become a Dutch Champion, but of course he had to win then, and he won! Out of the 7 entered Grands Jour won Best of Breed! The judge was Siegfried Peter from Germany. He was also the jduge for the Petits and Cappuccino won Best of Breed. In the group, that was judged by mister Deschuymere from Belgium, Jour was 6th and Cappuccino was this time 2nd, after being the winner for 7 times!!

from pup to a..

champion!

Leiden

And again a succeful show. I hadthe Grands Jour and Brulée with me and Anouk was there with her Orange. Our judge was mrs. Chwalibog from Poland. Jour won best male and won his 3th CAC. Orange won the junior class and is now Dutch Junior Champion. The judge really liked Brulée and she won best bitch. Jour won best of breed. Cappuccino was the only Petit at the show! But the judge was completely crazy about him. Later at the day she was also the group jduge and again Cappuccino was the winner!! Jour was one of the best 6. The Best in Show was judged by Wim Wellens and Cappuccino won third Best in Show!!

Eindhoven

As always was Eindhoven the 1st Dutch show of the year. The judge was Nicole Horsten from Holland. The Grands were before the Petits and Confetti  was entering the ring for the 1st time at an International show. He did this with flair and became best male. After him Brulee vwas also showing for the 1st time and shhe got a second place in the openclas with an excellent.  Best bitch was won by Dito Orange van Tum-Tum's Vriendjes, who won the junior class, owned by muy sister Anouk, she has already 3 CAC's now and is not yet 1 yeatr old. Confetti won Best of Breed.

After the Grands the Petits were judged so I took Cappuccino, always a little party, such a joy to show him!! He won Best of breed.

Nicole Horsten was the group judge and again Cappuccino was the winner!!! This is already his 5th group win! And the show before his 1st group win, Barbapapa won the group, so that are 6 groups!!
So sunday I went back to Eindhoven. Hassi Assemacher from germany was judging  Best in Show, it was a strong line up, but Cappuccino won Reserve Best in Show!! There were almost 2500 dogs entered, so again a super result! Mean while I got a message that his brother Café won the group in Portugal! So a great show weekend!!

Cappuccino wins the group under judge Nicole Horsten.
