World Dog Show, a dream coming true!
Jour wins the enormous group 6 at the World Show in Paris, in the country of origine of his breed, France!!!
This made him one of the 10 finalists of the 23.000 dogs entered at the FCI Centenary World Dog Show, what an achievement of Jour!!!!!

Confetti becomes the reserve best male behind Jour!
And Barbie becomes reserve Best bitch behind an English bitch.
But Jour wasnt the only one who went home with a worldtitle:

Fido Dido wins the titleJunior Worldchampion 2011 and best junior!
His sisters Florence and Fantaisie also did well, Florence becomes Junior Worldchampion of the bitches and Fantaisie is second in the class.
Kaboom has just celebrated his 2nd birthday, but just became the Worldchampion!!! And not only that, he also won Best of Breed under the judge Mr. Genichon from france out of the 64 Petits. So very proud at our Kaboom to win this important title in the country of origine under a French judge! The French breeders did like him a lot and wanted to keep him there!!
In the main ring he was also selected within the best 6 in the group! And on top of that he won reserve Best in Show of the French breeds!!!
And this all wouldnt have been possible if Marie Mard (breeder of his mother Loka) wasnt handling him so wel in the breed, as we were still busy in the Grand ring!
And this was hte final picture of the Petits at the World show!! We won both the world titles at the Worldchampionships in Paris!!!
And both of them children of our Cappuccino!!!
Pumpkin was the best bitch and so she wins the World title!! She was already European champion! And she is only 2 years old!!
It was a day like I could only dream of!!!!

Championnat de France
The day before the Worldshow there were the French Championships. Already early in the morning the Grands were being judged by Mr. R . Favre from France. We won almost all!. Jour wins best of breed, Confetti reserve best dog, Fido best junior, Fantasie best junior bitch, Praline wins the open class and Barbie the champion class, there is not chosen a best bitch.
After this we go to the Petit ring where Mr Rhul is judging and his winner is Pumpkin!! She wins best of breed out of the 62 Petits, what an achievement of our Pump, sooo very proud of her!!
Jour wins then the group under Mr. Rousset from France and during the Best in Show judging he wins 3th Best in Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of the almost 15000 entered dogs!!!. Judge was Dhr. Martinez from Argentinia!
Fido Dido wins reserve best in group of the juniors!
Praline wins the open class at Saturday.

Europasieger
I took 5 dogs to this very big show, judge today was Mr. Beyersdorf from Germany. First the Grands were judged and Jour won another title, Europasieger 2011. Barbie also won this title and Dauphine was reserve best bitch. Jour won best of breed.

In Petits Cappuccino won best dog and the title, but his daughter Pumpkin beats him for the breed!!!

Jahrhundertsieger
This is one of the biggest show this year, which is a special show because the FCI exist 100 years.
Our breed judge was Mr. Engh from Norway, himself a famous Greyhound breeder.
Jour won the title Jahrhundertsieger and so did Barbie. Dauphine was again reserve best bitch. This time Barbie won BOB, but it could have been easily Jour according to the judge, they were very close to each other!
Cappuccino also won the prestigious title and so did Pumpkin, but this time it was Cappuccino who won the breed!

And winning the huge group under Kari Jarvinen at this very big show with all the top dogs from around Europe!
And on top of that Barbie won the third place in the group!!! A huge thanks to Naomi van Mourik for all her great help!!!!! And of course to her father Pieter, who made these pics!
Crufts 2011
Amazing results at Crufts!!!
I took 4 dogs to Crufts this year and they obtained the following results:
Scotty (Tarmachan Albnawr) 1st limit dog and CC
Jour 1st open dog and RCC
Monty 1st limit bitch and RCC
Barbie 1st open bitch and CC and best of breed!!!!
So it couldnt have gone any better!!
Judge was Jeff Horswell, UK.
I didnt take a Petit, but Cappuccino's daughter Jilly (Soletrader Peek a Boo) did great by winning reserve Best in Show!!!!
The first show of the year 2011 is over and what a show!!!
We took 7 dogs to be judged by Jose Homen de Mello from Portugal. These were the results:
Scotty: 1exc open class, RCAC and RCACIB
Jour: 1 exc champion class CAC-CACIB, Best of Breed.
Fido Dido: 1 exc junior class
Praliné: 2 exc openclass RCAC-RCACIB
Monty: 1 excellent openclass CAC-CACIB
Florence: 1 exc junior class, best junior of breed
Cappuccino: 1 exc champion class, CAC-CACIB Best of Breed Petit Basset
So Florence had to compete in the big main ring against all the other junior dogs (and there were a lot of them!) for the best junior of the day. The judge was from Belgium, mr. Deschuymere. And she was like a pro and she won!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 10 months old, her first show, so proud! Nice detail is that her mother Applause won the same title at this show at her first show!
Florence
Jour and Cappuccino had to compete in the group judging. Mr. Rousset from France was the judge for this group. Jour did very well and he won!!!!
So we had to stay an extra day to compete for the Best in Show at sunday! The judge came all the way from Russia, mr. Khomasuridze. And just as his grand mother Sublime a couple of years ago, he won Best in Show!!!!!!!!
